The European Pet Organization is the European organization with which national pet trade associations in Europe collaborate in order to strengthen their position on European and other international issues.

EPO Conference at Interzoo

On Saturday 15 May 2010 the European Pet Organization will again organise a symposium on European pet legislation. Topics this time will be animal health and animal welfare. Mrs. Sigrid Cabot will give an overview on the development in the area of EU animal welfare legislation in the last two years. Mrs. Agneta Norgren will present the EU legislation on animal welfare applicable to pets during transport.
In addition a representative of the European Pet Organization will give an overview of the volume of the European pet trade and the importance of the pet trade for the European economy.
The Conference will be held at the Nurnberg Messe, room St. Petersburg in Service Center Ost, 14:00-17:00. Access free!
